Come Holy Spirit

I did not come in to GNK last Sunday and the first thing I heard about it was from Salome saying the Lord moved amongst our kids!!
Compared to Salome, I'm very insensitive, some say even thick skinned (huh!) Didn't ask too much about it and during evaluation, I heard those who went forward cried, were fervent and caught up in the presence of God (I was very surprised that John went forward to be prayed for - he always says that he doesn't like it if people look at him).

The discussion hit my ears, not my heart. Perhaps it was/is the same with many of us, if we're not there or if we're very caught up in something else, we can't 'feel' the passion of those who were present.

That Sunday, Daven and John did not talk about what happened but I know whatever happened went deep because the whole Sunday, (Daven was with us until about 6.45pm) the boys were humming and singing "Hosanna". They were very thoughtful and seemed to be walking on air that whole day (trust me, can tell - Hosanna wasn't sung in quiet little voices but so that the whole neighbourhood knew the Holy Spirit's flavour rested on 2 loud, little boys)

Miriam, Mary, Marcus(John says you taught him to speak in tongues and he keeps mumbling "Hallelujah" under his breathe ALL the time now), GNK Team on duty,
YOU HAVE BEEN USED BY GOD!! YES!!!
He touched where we could not see, children whom we didn't think ready for the Holy Spirit's touch. Jus Loving it!

The above was quoted from a GNK teacher about last Sunday's prayer for Holy Spirit for the children. Indeed, Lord we are blessed by You and to have seen You moved.

God, I am hungry for more of You and I pray that this church will be as well. May we be the church that You want us to be.

In Jesus Name
Amen
