Of late, my mind has been like a can of coke violently shaken. (You know what I mean)
I may just be saying this over and over again but I'm seeing what God is doing in me and my life.
Before, I always saw God's plan and mine as 2 separate entities and having to pray to God that He'll show me grace and choose mine.
Time went by and I think I've changed. For real. I have learned to take my plan before God and lay it at the Cross. I would rather choose His will and pray that instead of just picking my plan, that God You have the BEST for me and I claim that BY FAITH, and go in peace in His leading.
I suppose this has to start somewhere. God if You're going to put me on this path, then I pray You make the way forth for me. I really really don't want to go down this road to learn a costly mistake.
I trust in You Lord.
When it comes your time to die,
be not like those whose hearts are filled
with the fear of death,
so that when their time comes they weep
and pray for a little more time
to live their lives over again in a different way.
Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Crossroads
How I feel after 48 hours of this weekend.
God has placed 2 unique and independent events in my life.
Is this His sign?

Seemingly Impossible
The more I hear and the more I know,
the more it just seems so impossible.
Even though it may not be workable,
I know I can trust that God is able.
I will hold on and I will press on,
I pray that I will keep praying and seeking.
I hear many different opinions and counsels,
but all of them just seem to be so carnal and humanly right.
God, I want Your way, not Man's.

My heart's desire
Confided in another close friend today was a relief. Though this issue is very very important to me, I know it's not urgent. I choose to believe God has His best plans and the Lord knows it all.
I choose to devote my time and effort to serve and honour Him because at the end of it all, it is God's providence for me that matters.
Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. - Mat 6:33
I choose not to succumb to social pressures and reasonings, only You Lord I will follow =)

Leaving on a Jet Plane
And tonight, I sent off one of my closest friend I made in NTU.
Fellow crusader. Sister in Christ.
This post shall be dedicated to you Sharon =)
Thanks for being an encouragement and the times of sharing.
For being so understanding and accommodating.
When I was joyous and when I was down,
you were there to share the times with me.
Now as you embark on this exciting semester of adventure,
know that you are in my prayers.
The Lord knows the plans He has for you,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
I look forward now to your return soon =)
And on the other hand, another two of my closer friends are returning next week.
Time sure zoomed pass, it's as though it all happened last week.
The moment of departure is still afresh in the back of my mind.
Now I'm anticipating the week ahead to come.
Nevertheless, I'm feeling the reality of a friend's departure,
as in a friend who is leaving for an extended period of time.
Now I know I'll have to learn to cope with more of such changes in my life to come,
but I just cannot help but wonder what it is like and if I am the one who is leaving.
Not that I would leave and never return.
But maybe will God call me into a foreign land to reap His Harvest?
Maybe with a given partner of His Will?
Maybe for the longest time ever, He will send me?
Lord I trust in Your character and Your goodness.
In that, You have the best for me despite the circumstances I am in.
To look to You in each and every moment of my life,
and go down on my knees in surrender to Your Will for me.
Jesus, take pleasure with my life, my offering, my everything.

Not that I want to
People say time heals. I beg to differ.
Anyway, it is/was very hurtful and it still is.
I don't see a way that I can get over it unless I move away.
That's really something I wish I can do, but I still want to do what God wants me to do.
Sigh, God release me from this stronghold...
You are almightly and nothing is able to limit You.
I believe and I claim it but yet I don't see it.
According to Your will, please do something...

So so so many things ah!
Today's sermon on discipleship was really good...
5 simple yet important values of a Disciple...
Yet again, so many questions and doubts have surfaced in my mind regards to all about my faith and all that I had given...
I don't think it will be appropriate for me to voice them out here, so I will not stumble others in their faith...
But 1 thing I know, I don't decide all these..It is wholly God's sovereign will.
His and His alone! Amen...
